Job summary

Olympia Fields Hospital in Olympia Fields, IL, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Palliative Care Department on a Days shift. This full-time role delivers direct patient care, uses the nursing process, and supports patient and family teaching while coordinating with the care team.

Current and valid state RN license.
BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
ACLS certification within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
Minimum of one year’s experience as staff RN in an acute care hospital setting (preferred).
BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

Delivery of safe patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
Direct patient care within the scope of practice.
Guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel.
Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and treatment responses.
Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
