Job summary

AccentCare is seeking a Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) to provide compassionate, patient-centered care in the Bowie, College Park, Beltsville, Rockville, and Bethesda area. You will work within an interdisciplinary team, delivering nursing care to hospice patients and supporting families with comprehensive care plans.

You will have autonomy to practice at the top of your license, backed by a mission-driven organization that prioritizes your well-being and professional growth.

Qualifications

• RN license in the state of practice.
• At least one year of nursing experience.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and appropriate auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care that maximizes comfort and quality of life.
• Partner with patients, families, physicians, and the interdisciplinary group to create and carry out care plans.
• Perform comprehensive assessments-physical, emotional, social, and spiritual-to guide care decisions.
• Educate and support patients and caregivers, meeting them where they are.
• Coordinate care across disciplines to ensure continuity and dignity.
• Document care clearly and accurately to reflect patient needs and progress.
• Participate in oncall or admission rotations as needed.
• Engage in ongoing learning and professional development.
