Job summary

Queen City Hospice is looking for a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our hospice team in Ohio for a Monday-Friday day shift. You will manage a patient caseload, perform comprehensive nursing care, and develop plans of care in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered end-of-life support.

The role emphasizes low on-call requirements, strong clinical support, mileage reimbursement, and ongoing education.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Ohio (or compact state if applicable).
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification.
• Knowledge of quality assurance and hospice care standards.
• Valid driver''s license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Manage a patient caseload and lead the full nursing process: assessment, admission, care planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Deliver holistic patient care, addressing physical, emotional, psychological, social, and spiritual needs.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team, including physicians, social workers, and chaplains.
• Coordinate care with attending physicians and external providers.
• Conduct routine patient visits and update individualized plans of care.
• Provide end-of-life care, including clinical pronouncement and family support.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with state, federal, and company standards.
• Supervise and oversee care delivery by Home Health Aides (HHAs).
