Job summary

Interim HealthCare of West Michigan is hiring a Registered Nurse for our Hospice division. This flexible RN position emphasizes patient advocacy, with management backing and a supportive team to guide care planning and delivery.

You’ll conduct ongoing assessments, develop care plans with the IDG, educate families, manage pain and symptoms, and ensure equipment and medications are ready. Michigan licensure required; home health experience preferred.

Qualifications

• RN with active, unrestricted license in Michigan.
• At least 1 year of RN experience.
• Home health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient physical and psycho‑social status.
• Develop care plan with IDG, patient/family, and attending physician.
• Provide education and interventions for pain and symptoms.
• Ensure availability of equipment, supplies, drugs and services.
• Document patient/family services accurately and timely.
• Attend IDG meetings regularly.
