Job summary

Interim HealthCare Hospice is hiring a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our growing Hospice team serving the Kansas City Metro area. You will be the face of courage, providing end-of-life care and support to patients and families in their homes.

As a Hospice RN you will assess patients, develop and update plans of care, educate families, coordinate with physicians, and participate in on-call rotations to deliver patient-centered care where it matters most—at home.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program and hold an active RN license in KS/MO (or compact)
• 1 year (12 months) of RN experience required, hospice/home health or palliative care experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation and current auto insurance

• Manage and coordinate hospice patient care
• Complete comprehensive patient assessments
• Develop and update individualized plans of care
• Educate and support patients and their families

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current, active RN license in Kansas and Missouri, a Multistate compact license, or the ability to obtain the required license(s) within 30 days of hire
• License must be in good standing
• At least 1 year (12 months) of recent Registered Nurse experience
• Hospice, home health, palliative care, oncology, or medical-surgical experience preferred
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance
• Strong assessment, communication, and organization skills
• A genuine passion for hospice care and serving patients with compassion and dignity
