Interim HealthCare Inc. is hiring a Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Kansas City metro area team. You will coordinate and deliver compassionate end-of-life care in home settings, supporting patients and families with dignity and comfort.

The ideal candidate is an accredited RN with an active license in KS and MO (multistate compact), at least 1 year of RN experience, and a valid driver's license. Hospice, home health, or palliative care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Active RN license in KS and MO (multistate compact) or ability to obtain within 30 days.
• At least 1 year of recent RN experience; Hospice/home health or palliative care preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills.
• Passion for hospice care and compassionate patient-centered service.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate hospice patient care.
• Complete comprehensive patient assessments.
• Develop and update individualized plans of care.
• Educate and support patients and their families.
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary hospice team.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Participate in on-call rotation as assigned.

• License must be in good standing
• At least 1 year (12 months) of recent Registered Nurse experience
• Hospice, home health, palliative care, oncology, or medical-surgical experience preferred
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance
• Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills
• A genuine passion for hospice care and serving patients with compassion and dignity
