AHN Healthcare@Home is seeking an After Hours Registered Nurse (RN) for hospice care in the Erie, PA area. The role emphasizes autonomy, compassionate care, and meaningful patient relationships, with a $10,000 first-year success bonus potential.

You will deliver end-of-life care at patients' homes, respond to after-hours needs, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure comfort and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state you work.
• Two years of RN experience; hospice experience preferred.
• Current driver's license and ability to travel ~20% of time.

Responsibilities

We are hiring an After Hours Registered Nurse (RN) for a Hospice position providing end-of-life care to patients in their homes in the Erie, PA area. This position is eligible for a $10,000 first year success bonus to reward the accomplishment of key milestones during your first year!

What You'll Do:

• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a hospice setting, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team dedicated to comfort, dignity, and quality of life

• Respond to after-hours and on-call patient needs by performing urgent assessments, managing symptoms and pain, and providing compassionate end-of-life support in real time
• Support and guide patients and families during evenings, nights, weekends, and crisis situations, ensuring they feel informed, reassured, and cared for throughout the hospice journey
• Apply strong clinical judgment and critical thinking to coordinate care needs, respond to changing patient conditions, and maintain accurate, timely, and compliant EMR documentation
• Work independently, but never alone
• Travel to patient homes within assigned territory

After Hours RN Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse, RN license in the state you work
• Two years of RN experience and the clinical expertise to deliver quality patient care, Hospice experience preferred
• Current driver's license and ability to spend ~20% of your day driving to/from patient locations
