Job summary

Northeast Georgia Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse for hospice across hospitals, homes, and community sites. You will deliver nursing care per ANA standards, collaborate with the hospice interdisciplinary team, and support family education.

Georgia RN license with BLS, an Associate degree, and at least one year of clinical nursing experience are required. Heavy travel across the service area and on-call coverage are required.

Qualifications

• Georgia RN licensure and current BLS certification.
• Associates Degree is required.
• Minimum of one year of clinical nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Admits patients to the hospice program and completes admission visits.
• Delivers nursing care per ANA standards and supervises aides/LPN where applicable.
• Documents care and ensures accurate charting for reimbursement.
• Collaborates with IDT members to coordinate patient care and plan of care.
• Provides 24-hour on-call coverage as scheduled.
