Job summary

Devoted Care Hospice seeks a compassionate PRN Registered Nurse to provide skilled nursing care for hospice patients in homes and care facilities across San Antonio and surrounding areas.

You will participate in weekday, weekend, and on-call coverage, performing routine visits, assessments, and symptom management while coordinating with the hospice team to ensure 24/7 patient support.

Qualifications

• Current Texas Registered Nurse license in good standing.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing visits for hospice patients in homes, assisted living, and other settings.
• Participate in on-call rotation and after-hours triage.
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and manage symptoms.
• Educate and support patients and families.
• Coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary hospice team.
• Document care accurately in EMR.
