Job summary

Interim HealthCare, Madison, WI, is hiring a Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) to support patients in their homes and the surrounding area. You will join an interdisciplinary team to deliver compassionate, quality care focused on comfort and dignity.

Requires Wisconsin RN license, 1 year nursing experience (hospice/home health preferred), CPR, and knowledge of home health regulations. We offer a competitive salary, mileage reimbursement, PTO, 401(k), and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited nursing program with Wisconsin RN license.
Minimum 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in hospice or home health.
CPR certification and knowledge of home health regulations.
Clinical proficiency, strong communication skills and compassion.

Responsibilities

Provide home-based care to patients with six months or less to live, focused on quality of life.
Work with an interdisciplinary team to carry out the patient’s plan of care.
Perform patient assessments, check vitals, and monitor pain and medications.
Ensure accessibility of medical equipment and supplies.
Educate family on prognosis, care plan changes and hospice goals.
Deliver care with a holistic approach to mind, body, spirit, and family.
