Job summary

Interim HealthCare Hospice is seeking a dedicated Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) to cover Eau Claire, WI and surrounding areas. You will provide compassionate, home-based end-of-life care as part of an interdisciplinary team, focusing on comfort and quality of life for patients with less than six months to live.

Benefits include a $75,000–$85,000 base salary, a $5,000 sign-on bonus, mileage reimbursement, PTO, health/dental/vision coverage, a 401(k), and ongoing CEU opportunities.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Wisconsin.
• Minimum 1 year nursing experience, ideally in hospice or home healthcare.
• CPR certification is required.
• Strong communication and compassion required.

Responsibilities

• Provide home-based care to patients with six months or less to live, focused on quality of life.
• Work as part of an interdisciplinary team to carry out the patient’s plan of care.
• Perform patient assessments, check vitals, evaluate breathing, manage pain, and administer prescribed meds.
• Educate family on prognosis, care plan changes, and hospice goals.
