Job summary

Concordia Hospice Of Washington is seeking a compassionate Hospice Registered Nurse to deliver patient-centered end-of-life care in a supportive environment. You will assess needs, manage symptoms, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to honor patient wishes.

Autonomy and flexibility are valued as you educate families, coordinate plans, and provide comfort-focused care. RN license and at least 2 years of nursing experience required, preferably in palliative/hospice settings.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in palliative care, hospice, or oncology.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

The roots of our organization can be traced back to Rev. Dr. J. E. Victor Carlson, who helped create Hospice Care Inc. in Greene County in the late 1970s to serve families dealing with end-of-life illnesses. In 1996, the program was combined with The Washington Hospital, opening opportunities for inpatient care and other new services. On July 1, 2016, Concordia Community Support Services and Washington Health System (previously The Washington Hospital) partnered to form the organization we are today.
