Job summary

Crescent Hospice in Aiken, SC is seeking a Program Director to lead our hospice program with a focus on growth, quality care, and strong external relationships. You will oversee day-to-day operations, ensure compliance with Medicare/Medicaid regulations, and collaborate with senior management to align goals and policies.

The ideal candidate has a nursing/healthcare or business background, at least two years in healthcare management with hospice experience, and a track record in leadership,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing, health care, or business administration preferred.
• Minimum of two (2) years' experience in health care management, home health, hospice, or related health programs required.
• Two (2) years of hospice experience required with intimate knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid and Department of Aging and Disability Services regulations.
• Operations and/or Sales Leadership experience required.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships in the communities served as well as within a company.
• Experience in analyzing processes, improvement planning, supporting change, and effectively managing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Build the Dream Team: Employ qualified colleagues and ensure adequate colleague orientation, training, education, and evaluation.
• Be the Backbone of Excellence: Organize and supervise the administrative functions of the hospice program and overall local operations.
• Compliance Champion: Maintain compliance with applicable laws and regulations and implement corrective action if needed.
• Lead with Purpose: Take charge of the day-to-day management and operations of the hospice program.
• Policy Implementer: Make a difference by implementing the policies and procedures approved by the governing body.
