Hospice of New Jersey in Bloomfield is seeking a Program Director to oversee our Hospice Program, providing leadership for operations, growth, and quality care. You will manage day-to-day activities and coordinate with leadership to meet strategic goals.

The role emphasizes regulatory compliance, Medicare/Medicaid matters, and strong community relationships. The successful candidate will guide staff, ensure excellent patient care, and drive performance in a mission-driven organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing, health care, or business administration preferred.
• Minimum of two years in health care management, home health, hospice, or related programs.
• Two years of hospice experience with Medicare/Medicaid and DoA/DoH regulations knowledge.
• Operations or sales leadership experience.
• Proven ability to build relationships with communities and within a company.
• Experience in process analysis and change management in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Forge strong connections with physicians, hospitals, and facilities to extend reach.
• Build the dream team with onboarding, training, and evaluations.
• Organize and supervise administrative functions of the hospice program.
• Maintain compliance with laws and regulations and implement corrective action.
• Lead day-to-day management and operations of the hospice program.
• Implement policies approved by the governing body.
