Job summary

Sanctuary Hospice is seeking a Program Director to oversee the hospice program in the Chicago area, providing strategic leadership for operations, growth, and quality care. You will work with physicians, hospitals, and community partners to expand reach while ensuring Medicare/Medicaid compliance and high patient satisfaction.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in nursing/healthcare/administration and at least two years in healthcare management, plus hospice experience and strong ability to

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing, health care, or business administration preferred.
• Minimum of two years' experience in healthcare management, home health, hospice, or related health programs.
• Two years of hospice experience with knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid and related regulations.
• Operations and/or sales leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Forge strong connections with physicians, hospitals, and nursing facilities to extend reach.
• Build and lead a capable team with effective training and evaluation.
• Oversee administrative functions and local operations of the hospice program.
• Maintain compliance with applicable laws and regulations and implement corrective actions.
• Manage day-to-day operations and lead the hospice program with purpose.
• Implement governing body policies and procedures to shape the future.
