Job summary

Hospice of New Jersey is seeking a Program Director to oversee the Bloomfield hospice program. The role focuses on leadership, growth, external market relationships, financial management, customer service, and quality care delivery.

Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with Medicare/Medicaid regulations, managing day-to-day operations, and guiding the local office toward mission-driven care for patients and families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing, health care, or business administration preferred.
• Minimum of two (2) years' experience in health care management, home health, hospice, or related health programs required.
• Two (2) years of hospice experience required with intimate knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid and Department of Aging and Disability Services regulations.

Responsibilities

• Forge Strong Connections with physicians, hospitals, nursing facilities, and more to extend reach.
• Build the dream team by hiring, orienting, training, and evaluating colleagues.
• Oversee administrative functions and local operations for smooth daily management.
• Maintain compliance with applicable laws and regulations; implement corrective actions as needed.
• Lead day-to-day management and operations of the hospice program.
• Implement policies and procedures approved by the governing body.
