Job summary

Four Seasons Hospice is actively seeking a physician to provide direct patient care within hospice/palliative settings. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality end-of-life care across hospital, hospice facility, nursing home, and home settings.

The role requires 1-3 years in end-of-life care, a valid medical license (DEA where applicable), and familiarity with CMS requirements. Flexibility for weekend, holiday, and night call rotations may be needed.

Qualifications

• Education: Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from an accredited institution.
• Experience: 1-3 years in end-of-life care.
• Licensing: valid medical license and DEA registration where applicable.
• CMS: understanding of Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as attending or consulting physician to hospice/palliative clients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team including physicians, nurses, social workers and chaplains.
• Participate in weekly Interdisciplinary Team meetings to develop and evaluate care plans.
• Coordinate hospice care according to professional standards and Medicare requirements.
• Support patient and family counseling and education.
