Job summary

Four Seasons Hospice is seeking an experienced physician to deliver high-quality hospice and palliative care at the Elizabeth House facility in Flat Rock, NC. You will work with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive care plans for patients at the end of life.

Applicants must hold an unrestricted medical license in North Carolina and prefer Hospice and Palliative Medicine board certification.

Qualifications

• Physician license in North Carolina (unrestricted).
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Hospice and Palliative Medicine preferred.
• Experience in end-of-life care settings preferred.
• Active DEA registration.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in hospice/palliative settings.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team ( physicians, nurses, social workers, and chaplains).
• Participate in weekly IDT meetings and care planning.
• Coordinate hospice care per professional standards.
• Educate patients and families about care options.
