Job summary

DeliverCareRx is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our Mount Prospect, Illinois location. You will assist pharmacists, enter prescriptions accurately, process refills and new orders, and support inventory management with a focus on quality and speed.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and an active pharmacy technician license. Completion of a training course or one year of experience is preferred; PTCB or ExCPT certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and active State Pharmacy Technician license.
• Completion of approved pharmacy technician training or 1 year on-the-job experience preferred.
• PTCB or ExCPT certification is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Enter prescriptions and verify information for accuracy.
• Provide daily support to pharmacists and assist with dispensing processes.
• Process refills and new prescriptions promptly.
• Manage faxes to physicians and maintain clear communication.
• Restock and organize workstations; maintain clean environment.
• Assist with inventory management including counts and receipt of medication.
