Job summary

DeliverCareRx is seeking experienced Pharmacy Technicians to join our Mount Prospect, Illinois pharmacy. You will assist in processing, dispensing, and shipping prescription medications to hospice patients with a focus on accurate date entry and communication with pharmacists.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a current State Board of Pharmacy Technician license, and completion of a training course or one year of on-the-job training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• State pharmacy technician license required.
• Training or 1 year on-the-job experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enter prescriptions and verify patient data.
• Provide daily support to pharmacists.
• Process refill and new prescriptions promptly.
• Package and ship orders to hospice patients.
• Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
• Count and fill medication orders with accuracy.
• Maintain clean, organized workstations.
• Handle inbound/outbound faxes to physicians.
• Deliver high quality customer service to patients and caregivers.
