Responsibilities

• Enter prescriptions and verify appropriate information.
• Provide daily support to pharmacists.
• Resolve customer issues, ensure accurate information is provided.
• Process refill and new prescriptions in a timely manner.
• Manage outbound/inbound faxes to physicians.
• Focus on quality assurance to correctly input physician orders and to prevent medication errors.
• Provide high quality customer service to patients and caregivers over the phone.
• Utilize sound judgment to make appropriate decisions in the best interest of patients and the company.
• Restock and organize workstations to maintain a clean work environment.
• Assist with inventory management functions including, but not limited to cycle counts, inventory, receiving and put away.
• Package and ship orders.
• Count and fill medication orders with 100% accuracy.
• Compound medications that are not commercially available.
• Prepare medications with special packaging requirements like bubble packing, pre-filled syringes.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
