Job summary

VITAS Healthcare seeks a Patient Care Administrator (PCA) to join the senior leadership for a service area, ensuring care quality, finances, and operations run smoothly. You will support nurses, social workers, chaplains, and other staff, coaching leaders and guiding clinical decisions.

You will ensure consistent patient welfare, uphold our commitment to comfort and dignity, and advance performance improvement initiatives across the program.

Qualifications

• Active RN license to practice in the applicable state.
• Two years of home health and hospice experience.
• Four years of healthcare management experience.
• Hands-on fiscal and budgetary experience.
• Experience managing a team of leaders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Coach team members and consult on clinical matters.
• Drive performance improvement initiatives to elevate patient experience.
• Oversee clinical, financial, and operational aspects for the service area.
