Job summary

Compassus in the United States seeks a Nurse Practitioner - PPV to model our values and support patients with palliative and hospice care across multiple locations. You will perform assessments, provide education, manage symptoms, and collaborate with the PCP and IDT to maintain comfort and quality of life.

This role requires a Master’s degree in Nursing, an NP license, and experience in hospice or palliative care.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing required.
• Active and unencumbered Nurse Practitioner license in state of employment required.
• Board Certification in Hospice and Palliative Care preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and urgent assessments and manage symptoms for hospice/palliative patients.
• Educate patients and families about disease, care plans, and coping strategies.
• Collaborate with PCPs, specialists, and IDT; document visits and communication within 24 hours.
• Flex schedule to meet agency needs and participate in care coordination and billing.
