Job Opportunity: Pediatric Palliative Care Medical Director

Our client is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Pediatric Palliative Care Physician to serve as the Medical Director of the Pediatric Palliative Care division. The Director will be responsible for oversight, direct patient care, teaching, and consultative services as a Palliative Care Pediatrician.

Compensation and Benefits

  5. CME allowance: up to 3 weeks and $3,500

Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership by collaborating with Pediatric and Geisinger leaders to establish long-term goals, strategies, and policies for children with complex, chronic, and life-limiting conditions.
  • Oversee a bereavement support program for parents and siblings of children who have died.
Qualifications
  • Five years of post-residency experience preferred.
  • Leadership experience as a Medical Director within an integrated delivery system is highly desirable.
