Job summary

MercyOne Genesis Hospice & Palliative Care seeks an experienced Hospice & Palliative Care Medical Director to provide clinical leadership for our established program, including the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House and Hospice Home & Community Services.

In partnership with senior leadership, the Medical Director will oversee quality and delivery of services while supporting growth, quality initiatives, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Full-time with partial remote flexibility.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with Iowa medical license required.
• Board certification in Hospice & Palliative Medicine preferred.
• Fellowship training in hospice/palliative care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership for hospice and palliative care services.
• Oversee quality, delivery, and program growth.
• Lead interdisciplinary team collaboration and teaching opportunities.
