Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Hospice On-Call RN to provide after-hours clinical support, triage patient needs, and coordinate care across field and remote settings. The role includes a Monday–Thursday schedule from 5p to 8a and a $7,500 sign-on bonus.

Responsibilities include assessing patients, coordinating with physicians and care teams, educating patients and caregivers, and documenting all clinical decisions.

Qualifications

• Current RN license, state(s) you are assigned to work.
• Current CPR certification.
• 1+ years nursing experience, preferably in hospice, home health, or acute care.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and liability insurance.

As the Hospice RN On-Call, you are responsible for providing after-hours clinical support, triaging patient needs, and coordinating care to ensure continuity and quality outcomes. This role delivers remote and field-based nursing support, assesses patient conditions, and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to address urgent and emergent patient needs.

Schedule: Monday - Thursday 5p - 8a

$7,500 Sign On Bonus

Primary Responsibilities:

Required Qualifications:

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $79,600 to $119,400 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
