Job summary

Providence at Home with Compassus is seeking an On-Call Hospice Registered Nurse to deliver after-hours care in a compassionate home setting. The role supports patients and families, enabling them to maximize comfort and time with loved ones.

The position emphasizes after-hours and weekend coverage, with competitive pay and comprehensive onboarding in a caring, patient-first culture. Routing may include seven days on/off cycles.

Qualifications

• RN license in the state you work.
• Two years of experience as a registered nurse, hospice experience preferred.
• Current CPR and BCLS certification.
• Current driver's license.
• Flex your schedule to meet agency-staffing needs; weekends/nights possible.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospice patient care after-hours and weekend, as needs arise for our patients.
• Enable patients to spend quality time with their loved ones and doing the activities they enjoy.
• Build trusting compassionate relationships with your patients and their families.
• Empower caregivers by educating them on care for their loved one.
• Help the patient and family maintain their maximum level of comfort and coping for after-hours emergency support.
