Job summary

Compassus in the United States is seeking an on-call Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) to provide after-hours and weekend patient care, supporting families and maintaining comfort for patients at home. You’ll build trusting relationships, educate caregivers, and collaborate with a compassionate team to ensure high-quality end-of-life care.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of employment.
• Minimum of two years RN experience; hospice experience preferred.
• Current CPR and BCLS certification.
• Flexibility to meet agency-staffing needs, including weekends or evenings.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospice patient care after-hours and on weekends as needed.
• Help patients spend quality time with loved ones and engage in preferred activities.

Hospice On-Call Registered Nurse / RN Requirements

• RN license in the state you work
• Two years of experience as a registered nurse, hospice experience preferred
• Current driver’s license
• Current CPR and BCLS certification
• Flex your schedule to meet agency-staffing needs. Typical schedules may include weekends only, weeknights only, or seven days on, seven days off
