Job summary

Tom Trese Networking LLC is seeking a compassionate Hospice Nurse (LPN or RN) for a 7on/7off on-call role in the East Kansas City Metro service area. The position covers evenings and weekends, with shifts from 5 PM to 8 AM on weekdays and 5 PM Friday to 8 AM Monday.

On-call clinicians may be dispatched within Jackson County and nearby counties. The nurse will assess and manage patient needs via phone, home visits, or facility visits, supporting patients and families in homes and communities

Qualifications

• Active Nursing License in MO/KS.
• Maintains an active CPR certification.
• 2–5 years of hospice/palliative care experience.
• Knowledge of hospice services and interdisciplinary care.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Analytical/problem-solving abilities.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Respond to patient and caregiver needs via telephone contact, home visits, and/or facility visits for assessment, symptom management and teaching.
• Coordinate care, educate families, and ensure coordination of care after hours.
