Redcrest Hospice House is seeking a Director of Nursing to lead the hospice nursing program in Bloomington, IN. The DON will oversee clinical care, staff supervision and program quality, reporting to the Executive Director as needed.

The role emphasizes regulatory compliance, patient and family satisfaction, and collaboration with care partners. A valid RN license and hospice leadership experience are required, with opportunities for growth and mentorship.

Qualificações

• Registered Nurse licensed in the state of employment.
• Minimum one year of supervisory or administrative hospice experience.
• Hospice background for multiple sites preferred.
• Knowledge of hospice guidelines and regulations.
• Able to manage financial reports and control direct costs.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Oversees overall clinical processes from admission to discharge.
• Directly supervises clinical staff across disciplines.
• Coordinates care with physicians and families.
• Implements policy, procedures and quality improvement programs.
• Monitors regulatory compliance and quality metrics (QAPI).
• Participates in hiring, onboarding and staff development.
• Ensures accurate documentation and charting per guidelines.
