Job summary

Compassus in Michigan is seeking a Hospice RN Clinical Coordinator to provide administrative and clinical leadership, ensuring smooth operations in the absence of the Director of Clinical Services. You may carry a patient caseload as census fluctuates and must ensure regulatory compliance.

You will mentor staff, coordinate admissions and on-call coverage, and support care planning while maintaining documentation and QA activities to uphold Compassus standards.

Qualifications

• Active and unencumbered RN license.
• 1 year hospice experience or greater is preferred.
• Strong math and numerical skills for dose calculations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee clinical operations in the absence of the Director of Clinical Services.
• Support admissions, on-call coverage, and care planning.
• Mentor new staff and participate in QAPI activities.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
