Job summary

Kingman Regional Medical Center is seeking a Nursing Assistant to join the Hospice team. The role delivers quality, compassionate care, supporting daily living and safety for patients across age groups.

Full-time days on a 3x12 schedule, with responsibilities including vital signs, hygiene, and collaboration with nursing staff. Qualifications include a High School Diploma, AZ DPS Level 1 clearance, AZ Driver's license, and BLS certification; CNA/LNA credentials are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years or older
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• AZ DPS Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card or required within 20 days of hire
• Arizona Food Handlers Card
• Current, Valid AZ Driver's License
• BLS Certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• For CNA: Current valid Arizona CNA License from AZ Board of Nursing; LNA preferred

Responsibilities

• Attend to the daily living and safety needs of an assigned group of patients
• Assist registered nursing personnel in patient care activities
• Collaborate with other departments to provide timely, effective care
• Obtain and record vital signs, heights, weights
• Meet patient hygiene needs and ensure supplies are available
• Maintain a safe, tidy patient environment and follow infection control procedures
• Demonstrate effective communication with patients across age groups
• Report changes in patient condition or concerns to nurse or supervisor
• Document procedures accurately and timely
• Maintain patient and staff confidentiality
• Maintain productivity of 5–6 patients per day
