Job summary

Kingman Regional Medical Center is seeking a Nursing Assistant to support our Hospice team, delivering compassionate, patient-centered care in a dynamic hospital setting. You will assist nursing staff with basic care, monitor vital signs, and help ensure safety and comfort for patients daily.

Qualifications

Must be at least 21 years or older.
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
AZ DPS Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card or required within 20 days of hire.
Arizona Food Handlers Card.
Current, Valid AZ Driver's License.
BLS Certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
For CNA: Current valid AZ CNA License from the AZ Board of Nursing; may obtain LNA later.
For LNA: AZ Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) license from the AZ Board of Nursing.

Responsibilities

Attend to daily living and safety needs of assigned patients with age-appropriate care.
Assist registered nursing personnel with patient care activities and related non-professional services.
Obtain and record vital signs, heights and weights.
Maintain a safe, clean patient environment and follow infection control procedures.
Document procedures timely as directed by the RN/LPN; maintain confidentiality.
Aim for productive care with approximately 5–6 patients per day.
