The New Mexico VA Health Care System is seeking a Nursing Assistant for its Hospice Unit within the GEC Service. Applicants may be tentatively selected while education or certification requirements are completed.

This position follows VA qualification standards (GS-3 to GS-5). Candidates must meet English proficiency and basic experience/education requirements or have completed related training; grandfathering provisions apply for current VHA staff.

• Six months general experience or education related to nursing assistant.
• One year of education above high school with NA-related courses.
• Completion of a short NA training program may meet the experience requirements.
