Care Initiatives Hospice is seeking an RN with a passion for compassionate end-of-life care to join our team in Cedar Falls, IA. The Hospice Nurse will work a 7 days on/7 days off schedule, handling on-call nights and weekend coverage in patients’ homes, long-term care communities, or facilities.

You'll support patients and families, manage medications, and provide education to comfort during pain, breathlessness, dying, or time of death with empathy and respect.

Qualifications

• RN with a minimum of two years of recent clinical nursing experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• Willingness to provide care in facility and patient home settings.

Responsibilities

• This is a full-time role that is 7 days on and 7 days off, with night on-call from 4:30 PM to 8:00 AM and weekend coverage.
• Support patients and families during times of great need, including weekends and evenings.
• Provide medications, education, and compassionate comfort at end of life with dignity.
