St. Croix Hospice in Cedar Falls, IA seeks an On-Call Registered Nurse to provide hospice care on a 7/7 schedule, including 5:00 PM–8:00 AM weekdays and 24 hours on weekends. This salaried role demands clinical excellence, compassionate communication, and strong assessment skills.

You will respond to after-hours calls, perform home visits, admissions, and collaborate with families to plan and adjust care while maintaining HIPAA compliance and patient comfort.

Responsabilidades

• Provide after-hours hospice nursing visits and admissions.
• Respond to urgent night and weekend patient needs.
• Follow a rotating 7 days on and 7 days off schedule.
• Complete comprehensive patient and family assessments and develop plans of care.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality of patient information.
• Document visits and care provided in medical records.
