Job summary

HRAnswerLink in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse for hospice care. You will evaluate and treat patients using current practices and collaborate with physicians to plan care. You will lead Home Health Aides and LPNs, monitor outcomes, and participate in CQI initiatives while maintaining excellent patient interaction.

You will be available for after-hours requests and work with a multidisciplinary team to improve patient care and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the assigned state
• 2+ years hospice experience preferred
• Current CPR certification
• Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) documentation required
• Ability to assess patient status across ages
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients using current technology and practices
• Communicate with physician to decide initial plan of care
• Participate in CQI (Continuous Quality Improvement) initiatives
• Spend significant time with patients and make a difference in their lives
• Manage and educate Home Health Aides and LPNs in implementing nursing services
• Provide timely response to after-hours/weekend/holiday requests
