Job summary

Visiting Nurse Association of Texas (VNA) is seeking a full-time RN Nurse Educator to lead clinical training across North Texas, onboard new clinicians, and uphold high standards of palliative care.

The role involves designing learning programs, guiding onboarding, and managing Relias LMS and MatrixCare EMR, while partnering with QAPI and nursing leadership to ensure excellence. Travel across the DFW area is expected.

Qualifications

• Current Texas RN license and CPR certification.
• ADN required; BSN preferred.
• Minimum 2 years RN clinical experience with hospice/home health experience.
• Proficiency with EMR, LMS and MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, deliver, and evaluate hospice clinical learning programs.
• Lead onboarding and systems training for new clinicians.
• Administer Relias LMS in partnership with HR.
• Coordinate mandatory inservices and annual competencies with QAPI.
• Provide field mentorship and clinical support to staff.
