Job summary

Advocate Aurora Health in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a Part-time Hospice Nursing Assistant for the Night Shift (11 PM–7:30 AM) at Aurora Zilber Hospice Residence. Requires weekend/holiday rotation and 24 hours per week. Provides patient care under RN supervision.

Ideal candidates will have BLS and Nurse Aide in good standing, with a GED/HSED or high school diploma, and strong communication. Benefits include PTO and health plans; growth opportunities within hospice.

Qualifications

• Interest in hospice and end-of-life care.

• Team collaboration with nurses, social workers, chaplains and other staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with daily patient care (bathing, feeding, positioning).
• Record vital signs and inputs/outputs; document in EMR.
• Participate in admission, transfer and discharge under RN supervision.
• Assist with specimen collection and routine tasks; maintain stock and cleanliness.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety; respond to call lights promptly.
• Support nutrition, skin care, ambulation, and safe patient handling.
