Job summary

Cleveland Clinic’s Business Operations Center in Independence, OH, is seeking a Music Therapist for Hospice care. You will provide comprehensive clinical therapy services to patients, helping them meet personal goals and enhance well-being, with care extending into patient homes when required.

Design, implement and evaluate music therapy interventions, serve as a clinical resource for units and clinicians, participate in research, and coordinate therapy observations and reports to support

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Music Therapy from AMTA-accredited program.
• LPMT licensed through state licensing board is required.
• MT-BC certification required.
• At least one year of clinical music therapy experience.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and evaluate Music Therapy interventions to address biopsychosocial needs of patients and families.
• Serve as clinical and educational resource for hospital units and professional community.
• Assist and participate in research, developing topics and protocols, collecting results and assisting in publications.
• Assist Music Therapy Department to develop and evaluate programs and initiatives.
• Coordinate therapy observation experiences, write reports and collaborate on projects.
