Moments Hospice seeks a Music Therapist to alleviate patients' symptoms through personalized interventions, delivering compassionate care in a hospice setting. The role involves leading evaluations, collaborating with clinicians, and supporting families, with on-road duties and autonomy.

You’ll join a team focused on comfort and quality of life for patients in their final days. The position requires CBMT certification, a relevant degree, and strong communication skills.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Music Therapy from an accredited program.
• Board Certification by the Certification Board for Music Therapists (CBMT).
• Musical intelligence with a variety of instrument experience.
• Understanding of hospice philosophy and comfort providing specialized care to the terminally ill.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to follow safety rules and regulations (HIPAA, etc.).
• Valid Driver’s license.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and assist patients in music therapy interventions.
• Reduce symptoms like anxiety, depression, isolation, agitation through music.
• Educate the clinical team on music therapy appropriateness and contraindications.
• Maintain accurate records within 24 hours of sessions and update as needed.
