Ecumen Hospice Mankato is hiring a Hospice Music Therapist to provide music therapy services in-home and community settings across Mankato, St. Peter, Owatonna, and surrounding areas. The MT will manage their caseload and schedule under the Clinical Director, applying specialized music therapy to address patients’ needs.

The role offers a flexible schedule, competitive pay, mileage reimbursement, PTO/Sick time accrual, and a supportive team environment in a nonprofit hospice setting.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Music Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current MT-BC certification from Certification Board for Music Therapists.
• Valid drivers license, proof of insurance and satisfactory MVR.
• Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats.
• 遵守 all safety rules and policies (HIPAA, etc.).

Responsabilidades

• Assesses patients for appropriate medical indication for service.
• Directs and assists patients through music therapy interventions to alleviate symptoms.
• Provides ongoing education to the clinical team about treatment appropriateness.
• Maintains necessary records within 24 hours of sessions.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
