Job summary

St. Croix Hospice is seeking a Music Therapist to provide patient-centered music therapy in home settings, collaborating with RN Case Manager and Clinical Supervisors to align with each Plan of Care.

You will assess patient needs, deliver therapeutic interventions, and document outcomes while upholding HIPAA and participating in interdisciplinary teams. A degree in Music and a driving license are required; a Music Therapy degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Music from an accredited school.
• Preferred Degree in Music Therapy.
• Valid State Driver’s License and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct music therapy services following the plan of care.
• Assess patients and determine indication for therapy.
• Deliver interventions to alleviate anxiety, pain, and psychosocial distress.
• Document patient responses and outcomes within 24–48 hours.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and contribute to interdisciplinary teams.
