Job summary

Moments Hospice is seeking a licensed Music Therapist to join our on-the-road care team. You will lead individualized music therapy sessions, helping relieve anxiety, depression and stress for patients in their final days.

You will collaborate with our clinical staff, document sessions within 24 hours, and ensure safety and HIPAA compliance. A CBMT certification and a valid driver's license are required, with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Board-certified Music Therapist (CBMT) required.
• Experience as Music Practitioner or program graduate in health and wellness.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Qualifications:

• Experience as a Music Practitioner or graduate of a program focused on music as an intervention for health and wellness
• Must be Board Certified as a Music Therapist by the Certification Board for Music Therapists (CBMT).
• Musical intelligence and mastery of at least one instrument
• Understanding of hospice philosophy and comfort providing specialized care to the terminally ill
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to follow all safety rules and regulations (Vulnerable Adult/Abuse Policy, HIPAA, Resident Rights, Universal Precaution, AWAIR, OSHA, Right to Know)
• Valid Driver’s license
