Autumn Lake Careers is seeking a compassionate Hospice Music Therapist to join our team. You will provide music therapy services to patients in our hospice care program, using music to promote emotional and physical well-being and improve quality of life.

This per diem position offers varied shifts including days, evenings and weekends, with opportunities for professional growth and a collaborative, supportive work environment.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Music Therapy or related field is required.
• MT-BC certification is preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement individualized music therapy plans for patients in our hospice care program
• Conduct music therapy sessions, including singing, playing instruments, and listening to music
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care to patients
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment plans
• Participate in patient care conferences and team meetings
• Provide education and support to patients, families, and caregivers on the benefits and uses of music therapy

About the Role:

This is a per diem position with varied shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized music therapy plans for patients in our hospice care program

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care to patients

Requirements:

• Minimum of 0 years of experience as a Music Therapist (entry-level candidates welcome to apply)

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
