Job summary

DME Express LLC is hiring delivery drivers to transport and pickup medical equipment, including wheelchairs, hospital beds and oxygen, to hospice patients. Training is available for candidates with no experience. The role involves routes, patient education, safety compliance, and maintaining equipment and vehicles.

This full-time position offers a competitive salary based on experience, a 500 sign-on bonus, and 24/7 on-call rotations. Vehicle and cell phone are provided for use.

Qualifications

• Must maintain a positive attitude at all times.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds daily.
• We are a 24/7 operation with rotating on-call schedule.
• Accepts other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Determines or obtains best daily route, assembles and delivers equipment and educates patient and family on use.
• Enforces DOT and FDA regulations as they pertain to Oxygen and DME.
• Maintains stock levels and cleanliness of warehouse and delivery vehicle.
• Ensures technicians adhere to standards and provides patient orientation when applicable.
• Works with patients to solve problems and represents the company in the field.
• Completes delivery and pickup through app promptly and accurately.
• Assists in cleaning, disinfecting and minor repair of equipment.
• Performs daily preventive maintenance on assigned vehicle.
• Promotes teamwork and may work weekends on a rotating schedule.
