Job summary

DME Express is seeking delivery drivers to support growth by delivering and picking up medical equipment such as Wheelchairs, Hospital Beds and Oxygen to Hospice patients. Training is provided; no experience required.

You will be a field representative, interacting with patients and families to ensure proper use and safety of equipment. The role requires handling equipment, maintaining vehicle cleanliness, and adhering to DOT/FDA regulations.

Qualifications

• Must maintain a positive attitude at all times.
• Clean driving record required.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds on a daily basis.

Responsibilities

• Determine best daily route, assemble, deliver any needed equipment, and educate patient/family on proper use.
• Enforce all DOT and FDA regulations related to Oxygen and DME for the service center.
• Ensure stock levels and cleanliness of warehouse and delivery vehicle.
• Ensure technicians comply with company and accreditation standards.
• Provide patient/client orientation and instructions on equipment use when applicable.
• Work with patients/clients to solve problems as a field representative.
• Complete delivery and pickup through the app promptly and accurately.
• Assist in cleaning, disinfecting, and minor repair of equipment.
• Perform daily preventive maintenance on assigned vehicle.
• Maintain a neat, clean personal appearance and professional conduct.
• Promote teamwork among coworkers and assist fellow drivers as needed.
• May be required to work Saturdays/Sundays on rotating schedule and take on-call time.
• Perform warehouse and office maintenance tasks as required.
• Demonstrate timeliness, courtesy, sincerity and patience with clients.
• Market the company in a positive and professional manner at all times.
