Job summary

St. Croix Hospice in Charles City, IA is seeking a compassionate Massage Therapist to join our clinical team. The role combines therapeutic touch with hospice care to ease pain, anxiety, and mobility challenges, supporting patients and families with dignity and comfort.

The position is full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, with a focus on patient-centered care and collaboration with clinical supervisors. A state license and driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Massage Therapy program.
• Current Massage Therapist License or Bodywork Therapist License in practicing states.
• Valid State Driver’s License and a reliable vehicle.
• Ability to pass background, consumer report, and drug test.
• Provides massage therapy per plan of care; assesses patients for appropriate medical indication and treatment effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic massage to ease symptoms such as pain, anxiety, and limited mobility.
• Observes patient responses and reports changes to supervisor and staff.
• Maintains timely documentation of sessions in patient records (24–48 hours).
• Collaborate with the Clinical Supervisor/Manager and interdisciplinary team.
