Job summary

Concho Hearts Hospice in the Uvalde area is seeking an experienced Hospice Executive Director/Marketer to build and lead a new hospice location, grow your team, and forge meaningful community partnerships.

You will develop referral relationships with hospitals, facilities, physicians, and partners, conduct outreach, and educate partners about hospice services while ensuring smooth transitions with clinical leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of hospice marketing experience.
• Proven ability to develop referral relationships and grow census.
• Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Hospice operations and regulatory knowledge preferred.
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to take ownership of a market.
• Passion for providing exceptional end-of-life care.

Responsibilities

• Build, lead, and develop your hospice team.
• Establish and grow referral relationships with hospitals, facilities, physicians, and community partners.
• Conduct community outreach and educate referral partners about hospice services.
• Meet with patients and families to explain hospice care and services.
• Partner with clinical leadership to ensure smooth transitions into hospice care.
• Oversee daily branch operations, quality, and compliance.
• Support hiring, onboarding, training, and development of your team.
• Maintain strong relationships throughout the community.
• Drive business development and sustainable census growth.
