Job summary

Concho Hearts Hospice in Galveston, TX, is seeking an experienced Executive Director/Marketer to build and lead your own hospice location. You will develop your team, grow community partnerships, and drive referrals to improve patient census while maintaining high-quality care.

The role combines entrepreneurial leadership with support from our Home Office, offering autonomy, performance bonuses, and a path to impact patients and families in your community.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of hospice marketing experience.
• Proven ability to develop referral relationships and grow hospice census.
• Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Hospice operations knowledge and regulatory familiarity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build, lead, and develop your hospice team.
• Establish and grow referral relationships with hospitals, facilities, physicians, and community partners.
• Conduct community outreach and educate referral partners about hospice services.
• Meet with patients and families to explain hospice care and services.
• Partner with clinical leadership to ensure smooth transitions into hospice care.
• Oversee daily branch operations, quality, and compliance.
• Support hiring, onboarding, training, and development of your team.
• Maintain strong relationships throughout the community.
• Drive business development and sustainable census growth.
